We have 2 and that is more than bright enough. We added a spotlight under the eaves for the backyard and one for the driveway. We added 2 downlights at the side of the house you walk down so it isn't dark at night time. We did extra lights in the kitchen, we have 2 where you do and then another 2 over the island (unless you are doing pendants over the island). Do you have a TV point in the family room? Re: Electrical plan 4Mar 12, 2020 9:20 pm Seems like plenty of lights but nowhere near enough power sockets. Unless you want power boards and extension leads all round the house you probably need 2-3 times as many double power outlets. Re: Electrical plan 6Mar 13, 2020 11:31 am Agree re the power points, put in as many as you can. I put a double on just about every wall, and still wish for a few more. You don't have any in the family room - where is your TV going to go? Think about things like - lamps - desks - wireless speakers - Kitchen island, use ours there all the time for stick mixer . - side walls of garage - TV in bedroom - chargers etc etc Thanks for info, yes met with Power Utility, Builder's Site Supervisor and Electrician on site and aligned on the mains connection.
