Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Mar 06, 2020 8:46 pm Hi guys. New to the forum. I've tried to google and search through the forums a bit. Haven't quite found the answer I was looking for. I've sifted through a bunch of builders. And decided on either Carlisle or Homebuyers. The guy at Homebuyers told me they (ABN) are the only ones with a fixed site cost. Everyone else does an estimate. And don't count things like the tendering process. I decided on Carlisle & put a deposit. And they gave me a fixed price. With site costs being $6300. Homebuyers claim that was impossible. I'd be paying a minimum of 15k - 20k with tendering process costs. And most likely there are some hidden prices in fine print. Which gets very close to my max budget. I've checked Carlisle's website and asked them. They said that was my fixed price and it won't change (outside of additions from spectra.) Should I be worried? Getting in first home buyers deposite scheme. Has forced me to rush a little. Since I spent a bit of time looking for good land in a location I'm happy with. Most of Perth has class A (sandy soil), except for some areas near rivers or hills. 2 12983 Is anyone building with Mojo and have a recent site cost tender 0 15906 Henley should give you some indication of site costs.
