Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Feb 07, 2020 8:41 am We are in an tight situation and wanted to see if anyone had anything similar happen in their build - this week we had a private certifier issue us our Form 21, and the very last item for completion is just tiling the back patio - tiles arrived last Friday and the builder's team rocked up ready to go but of course its been rain rain rain so they literally cant get it done in the rain. We have been beyond happy with the build and the whole thing is ready to go, just in time because our rental lease wont extend so we need to be out in a week and a bit - my question is, we want to progress the final payment to be able to get in to the house, but the tiles haven't been fully finished outside - has anyone had issues progressing a final payment without absolute completion? I know it says the bank want everything done to the contract but you can clearly see the house is perfect and has been deemed fine to live in - but would they reject our claim based on some tiles not being finished give the weather is impossible to do so at the moment?
