I'd like to build a pergola with some polycarbonate semi-transparent corrugated roofing to provide some cover for our deck.
The deck is surrounded on 3 sides by our property. Is it possible to attach the pergola roof to the eaves on these three sides? Something like this: https://imgur.com/a/amzZ0n8
Would that provide sufficient strength a) for someone to stand on top to put in the screws, and b) for strong winds not to blow it out?
