Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Dec 29, 2006 8:28 pm O,K gurus need some advice. We are going to knock down an old weatherboard to build our dream home. Problem is, we would like to switch the driveway to the otherside of the house (best left explained elsewhere) but the existing water meter is located on that side. Is it possible to have it repositioned, say a few meters over to one side so we can put in a driveway? I'd imagine a permit from melbourne water and a licensed plumber should be able to do the trick?

Get the plumber first and he'll give you all the details re permits etc. If he's on the ball he might even save you the trouble and arrange all the permits etc for you.
