The pours were 2.1 meters each and done over three days, all went well for the first two pours but had trouble with quantity for the last, seems I trusted the truck driver too much when he said I had enough (lesson learnt). Anyway I was about half a barrow out and had to make up the difference with an old bag of premix hanging about. On the day when finished it looked ok, looked blended but two weeks on and it is starting to crumble and fail, seems the old bag was crap. I want to dig the effected area out down to the real concrete and then fill the effected area. What should I fill with, Grout? or something else. I'll prepared the base but removing any loose bits and make sure I have a good base and maybe paint with Bondcrete (only if you think thats a good move) What do you think I should fill with that will set as one with the slab and look reasonably the same? Thanks for your help in advance, its a tricky one. Cheers Jim The deepest part of the job would be around 30 mm, the slab depth is 100mm Hi VK, Think it's worth investing time in an Owner Builder course to equip you with basic knowledge on Australian Building Industry and its regulations.
