I generally just replaster it every few years, but looking for something to mitigate it before the next replaster, even if it is not perfect. Drilled a row of holes along the mortar, shoved a dryrod into each, left for a week, and then filled the holes. Did it work? Who knows, I will have to wait a few years to find out!
