Browse Forums General Discussion Re: Floating Table help 2Nov 08, 2019 6:51 pm bomb3rman Hi All, We are planning to build a floating table, to be located in front of a fixed glass window. Example for reference: https://www.lincolnbarbour.com/wp-conte ... 90x401.jpg In our case, the wall has a total width of 3.6m wide, including the fixed glass window at the centre which is 2.8m wide. The floating table is to be 3.6m wide (across width of the wall) and 40cm depth, but we are wondering if this is possible at all? Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Absolutely. It will have to have some decent support built through it. I'd be opting for a steel ladder frame then box it out with a whatever you want. The overall thickness will be fairly deep to get that span. But I'm not sure… 3 4584 Thanks, that's the motivation I needed to give it a try sooner rather than one day! 4 2060 |
