The longer the run the more water you waste waiting for the hot to get there. However any ongoing maintenance will be difficult up on that 1st floor. In fact our neighbour had to move his HWS from a similar position because the gas company said it didn't meet safe working regulations. He and his plumber disputed it with ATCO however they still had to move it. Thanks and I agree with all your points, very helpful. I have asked my builder if possible for them to relocate somewhere appropriate in the ground floor. I was more concerned on visual look 😁 but didn't realise the difficulty of ongoing maintenance if it's installed up on the first floor. Our standard double-glazed window is tested to achieve, Rw 34, and can be glazed to suit Rw 39. The price is good too... 3 9477 Does anyone have a suggestion for a good hydronic in slab heating speacialist who may be able to help me with an existing system and wether or not it may need a seperator… 0 4888 From what I know about water tanks (I've been working with a client on them for a few years now) is this - The concrete can last a lifetime if they don't crack for some… 2 10639 |
