We're trying to plan a concrete apron post handover and wanted to get some advice on the levels. So the BCA says 1000mm apron, 50mm fall away from the slab, but because we have Hebel cladding there are no weep holes. Is the concrete apron pretty much supposed to sit 75mm below the top of the slab? Assuming the heaviest thing we push down the apron would be a wheelborrow or perhaps a bobcat initially, would 100mm concrete cover, on 50mm road base and SL62 mesh be sufficient? Or too much/too little? Cheers You are correct. Just read through all the ncc rules and 75mm is the minimum requirement for me. 4 11180 Since you are in the design stage then I would direct your questions, in writing of course, to your designer.
