Garage Internal Wall

Hi guys, I have been reading the discussion but I just joined now. I’d just like to ask everyone regarding their garage’s internal wall. Are your garages’ walls covered in gyprock? I’m asking because my garage has exposed brick on one side but is covered in gyprock on the other. Hope someone can help me.

I know looking around our area at new builds, several appear to have solid brick walls as the structural component to the external garage walls....instead of the timber frame w/brick veneer as per the rest of the house.

I'm not sure why some builders do it this way, but on these bricked garage walls I see they leave them fully exposed with no wall linings at all. So sounds fairly normal to me.

In my area amongst all builders, gyprock in the garage is standard
