Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Sep 15, 2019 9:19 pm Hi all We are planning an outdoor kitchen. We have two options as listed below Option 1: Kitchen will be built to left hand side of undercover pergola. The view will be of the children play area and my house. Not much else to see. Your back will be to the patio and pool area but you are completely undercover. The bench space will only be 3m wide though. Option 2: Can have an L shaped kitchen 3m x as long as you like. The kitchen cabinetry will be under the eave but rain will get to it from the side (not much as the house is a V shape but will still get rain if blowing from the right direction. You are also standing not undercover (ie the kitchen is under the eave but you are standing not under the eave). The plus side however is your view is of the entire yard and pool and patio and can have a larger ktichen BUT the trade off is standing outside. Can put a cover over the option 2 but it will make the house quite dark so dont want to do that. What would be the best option? Also, what are your must have in an outdoor kitchen. Aside from a sink we really want to have a charcoal bbq. Thanks! Thanks for letting us know. The programmer will have a look at this later today. 2 6684 About a year ago, I embarked on a DIY project to construct an outdoor Pergola, which measures approximately 5.2 meters by 4.0… 0 29607 Natural stone tiles like slate, travertine, and limestone add a timeless, elegant look to… 0 24710 |
