Hi, I have 70+ meters of mature hedging (I think it’s called golden rough, has yellow berries) plus dozens of established palms. I’m looking to change landscaping completely, are the hedges and palms worth anything to a landscaper / other? Thanks for advice, cheers

Some are, but some can’t be transplanted successfully. Also, big palms can cost a lot to dig out and transport. Your best bet is to place advertisements in Gumtree and Facebook Marketplace and see if anyone shows interest.

Why is that? We are thinking to go for ducted reverse cycle heating and cooling as we don't prefer gas heating and planning to install solar panels after hand over.

I'd definitely get the DA reapproved. An extra metre in the backyard is far better. Cheaper front driveway. It will pay for itself if your going to pay for another submission.
