Joists need to be 120x45 with decking on top Hi Chippy, I am talking about decking, its not an area that is close to the house so it doesnt have to be pretty just looking for the cheapest option but will still be strong enough to hold some weight. You need a garden bridge, which can easily span 1.6m, and will support some plants and even you weight walking over it. Can you get them under $100, with or without the hand rails.
