Hi Guy's, New to forum and seeking info on above topic. We have a circa 1920 home with high ceilings and lovely pressed metal ceilings and cornice. We have chosen to replace old buckling horsehair plaster in our kitchen reno. Wanting to replaster but don't want the heartache of having to remove all metal cornice.
Is there a way this can be avoided?
If I have to remove cornice is there a technique which will avoid damage?
Would appreciate any ideas forthcoming...………….Thanks Peter
