Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jul 16, 2019 1:18 am Hi I'm thinking of buying the henley electra normal facade as I'm selling my house. I'm new to all home stuff as it's first house I'm building. I'm buying it outright so no bank loan. I was wondering what are the pros and cons in this place. And what did you change and how much did it cost.? Currently there's a deal 24k worth of upgrades not sure what that entails yet. I only have 320,000 for the hous3 so not sure how it works. What's landslide costs. I brought 5 acres and want to build it on one of the acres. Re: ELECTRA HENLEY HOME JULY 2019 2Aug 15, 2019 6:01 pm I don't believe you can get an Electra for that price. The price will vary a huge amount if you are are a knock down rebuild versus a greenfield site. I think houses in greenfield can get site costs as little as 20k but thats the min i'd guess, knockdown rebuild all builders quoted me 60k- $80k. Every site has different challenges If your on 5 acres, regardless of the builder that sounds like a long way for an electricity pit. Our's was $3.5k and the pit is only a few feet from the nearest pole, you could be into tens of thousands for a pit and other connections like drainage and sewage. I know there was one cost of $30k we avoided as it was already at our site from the old house. I think it was related to drainage. Then if your site is not flat, your into more $$$ some builders will give you an indication of site costs if you explain your site conditions.
