Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jun 19, 2019 6:18 pm Hi guys what are your opinions about house layouts that have designs where once you enter the front door you can walk and view in a straight line into the living area. On the otherhand you have layouts where there’s a wall blocking the view into the rest of the house. Obviously there’s some pros and cons to each. Seeing a kitchen would drive me insane, in saying that, our last build and our next build are both big (over 500sqm), so I have the luxury of size. Sometimes you don’t get a choice though. Safety & privacy, I personally don’t want anyone to be able to look into my house to see if I am home. We have that problem right now where the wall is just 10mm to short & you can look into our bedroom from the front door so we have to sleep with the door close... With the house we’re building I specificially asked for a wall to block the entry view into the rest of the house as it would give more privacy from people who knock on your door.
