The joists are C-section on RHS Bearers. The floor will be hebel AAC. Was looking at green foilboard as I don't like fibre insulation as it is a mouse attractant. Also is condensation an issue as foilboard is non permeable, or do I go with something like AIR CELL permifloor draped over the bearers so I can glue the hebel to the joists? The subfloor will be 2.4m off the ground so I want it to look ok, and we have BAL 29. Do I do something and then sheet with cement board? Do some research on how they do it across the ditch. I personally feel that their building standards are a lot better than ours. They build a lot of timber homes set on bearers and joists and they lay a plastic membrane over the ground to stop moisture rising and then use Styrofoam between the joists Thanks will have a look Hi I am wanting some opinions about the build of a steel shed I am going to get one about 4.5 x 2.5 m steel shed and the height will be about 2.3-2.4m high The one I am… 0 14442 Jimbo73 I would use heaps of adhesive on each sheet and screw rather than nail. use as many as you like cheers Simeon 1 4064 XCEM Alpha flooring seems to relatively new and I could not found any reviews. Have you or someone you know have used it and would recommend over other subfloor options?… 2 7588 |
