Browse Forums General Discussion 1 May 14, 2019 8:52 pm Hi, http://www.knotwood.com.au/gates/ appears to be the only place where I can get a sliding driveway gate that uses knotwood simulated wood slats AND frame. But, I can't find any product reviews or feedback online that indicates whether it's worth cost of an expensive DIY kit. It appears they only send materials and then you have to cut everything to size including mitering the frame corner connections. I don't even think they provide screws as one FAQ talks about whether to use galvanized screws if on the coast. Has anyone every built one of these? Do they really just ship raw materials you need to cut to size? I can figure most things out but is it worth the effort given the kit is as much as fully assembled/welded colorbond gates without wood decals. Thx!
