Browse Forums General Discussion Re: Which would you buy? 4May 11, 2019 2:52 pm DustyBlue We are hunting for our next property. We are wanting a bit more land and a bit bigger house. We currently live on a residential block. We have 2 options that have come up. Just need opinions with what everyone thinks is better. Which would you choose and why. Opinion 1 Established House More expensive option Less then 12 month old house. Big house on 6 acres (heavily treed). No landscaping. Just house on land with shed. Option 2 1 acre block (cleared) and building a new house. House won't be as big as option 1 but I'm still very happy with the size. When estimating cost works about 150k price difference between each options. This is a estimate as it depends what price is agreed on. Stamp duty has been included in estimates. Location is VIC.
