Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Apr 19, 2019 12:36 pm We are looking to build again π©. The house plan that we are looking to go with ( the plan was suggested by the builders) is one that they currently donβt build any more. They get the kitchens from China. So for us th build the house we have had to get a quote to do the kitchen with a local company. They will only use one kitchen company. The quote has come in above what they allocate for kitchens, my question is do you think itβs fair we have to pay the extra? Re: Kitchen cost 3Apr 19, 2019 2:22 pm ![]() you can always get a good looking kitchen from IKEA (with 10 years warranty). The only fuss is that it is flatback, so installation will be more costly. They have said they wil only allow one specific kitchen company to do the work. π©π© Re: Kitchen cost 4Apr 19, 2019 2:39 pm ![]() ![]() you can always get a good looking kitchen from IKEA (with 10 years warranty). Just check if it's a provisional sum. At 25k it'll likely be a worst case scenario if it's provisional. If it's fixed, its a different story 9 4024 ![]() Oh awesome! thats a really good price!
