Browse Forums General Discussion 1 May 25, 2022 8:13 pm Hi all, I am looking to purchase a house and the building report has found that it has a severely sagging ceiling lining within the double garage and which needs to be removed and replaced. Does anyone have any idea of what the cost to remove and replace the ceiling would likely be? Under $100 in materials I would have thought. Then you can patch up the screw holes and re-paint if you don't like the look. Re: Sagging garage ceiling 5May 26, 2022 11:38 am depends on the reason for sag. If its just due seperattion from the trusses from glue/fixing failing its a quick/easy fix. If its due to leaking, there probably mor egoing on that need a look and could range in pricing (to extreme amounts if things like mould, wood rot etc is found). You need more information.
