I bought a house & lot package from Noble - Stage 2. My status is: DA has been lodged & awaiting council approval. Last week, Noble asked my consent to their offer to outsource the construction to their builder partner. Noble said "We offered this option with the intention of starting the construction of your house earlier. The only change will be the builder's details on the contract to comply with the insurance certificate. All the other contract details keep the same. The revised documents will be prepared after your confirmation."
I did not yet consent & consulted first my solicitor coz I'm worried of changing something in the contract.
My solicitor said to clarify with Noble what do they mean of outsourcing? Do it means assignment or subcontracting? There is a clause in the contract referring to this (page 34).
Anyone here with the same experience (outsourcing)? What did you do? Did you acknowledged it?

I am in the same boat as you are. They have only been promising me new time frames each time I follow up. Finally when I advised them will be seeking legal advise and lodging a complaint with fair trade I receive a call from Noble personnel trying to explain me the amount of things they need to do at the back end. He unintentionally disclosed about them not having the insurance due to which they have to get the construction done through their partner company. We seem to have been stuck here, but if you have a way out with Noble by all means please do

They are in breach, whether they admit or not, quite simply while you wait for a house and are paying mortgage repayments they are making interest and using it on there development in rouse hill to build land and not houses.
My solicitor is doing a lot of research this week and they are very bad and are actually not financial like they tell others.
