Hoping a brickie can help me out with some information.
I am building, about 1 month off hand over. About 12 meters (30m2) of the brick work is the wrong batch (missing the dark bricks that make up about 1 out of every 7).
Brick companies 1st suggested solution was a NAWKAW colour match. This was trialled however the NAWKAW rep conceded he couldn't match the colour.
Brick companies 2nd suggested solution is to replace individual bricks to match the pattern of the correct batch. Me & the site supervisor both calculated this to be around 175 bricks. I really don't like the idea of this & am going to go down the path of compensation instead.
So, my question is - if the builders brickie performed this job then the builder passed the cost onto the brick company, what would the cost of replacing 175 individual bricks be? Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅
