Slab Type

Hi
Our site was a P class site and on the documents given by builder it is mentioned "waffle raft slab to engineer's design on maximum 50mm levelled crushed rock base."

What class / type of slab is that M, H1,H2 ???
P class simply means the site is problem site due to some reason (e.g. trees, fill, etc.).

Soil classification should be specified in your geotech report separately.

You mean soil classification and site classification are 2 separate things?

Yes.

The report should say: site classified as P due to ..., but soil class is ... (M/H1/H2, etc.)

Thanks for the insights, that makes perfect sense, and yeah, I will be leaning on the experience of the excavator operator entirely.
