Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Mar 13, 2019 8:49 am Hi, Just like to know for those who have built a new house, and reached your two year milestone did you go back to the builder and present another list of defects? I understand that the 24 month warranty period covers certain non structural aspects of the building , i cant seem to find exactly what the 2 year warranty covers . I know its 6 years for major defects and 2 years for all other defects based on the NSW fair trading site, just want some clarity . Im about 6 months off the 2 year mark I noticed 2 crack tiles just after the 3 month defect period however builder refuses to fix these as i reported it too late, but im sure i read cracking of tiles is covered within the 2 year period, I can see the nail butts slightly protruding in some areas on the walls , small cracks in ceilings near the edges. cheers Re: 2 years after a new build, general checklist, whats cove 2Mar 13, 2019 8:59 pm Warranties do vary but the following link shows a typical list of coverage. http://anewhouse.com.au/2016/10/what-do ... ies-cover/ The Harder You Try - the Luckier You Get !
