Ladder for 2 storey home

This may seem like an odd question but for the seasoned home handyman/woman I have a few questions around ladders as I’m looking to purchase shortly.

1. What is a real practical ladder height? My ceilings are 2.74m

2. Is also need to use it on the staircase to install/replace Downlights

This is the ladder I’m eying off:

A-Frame Min. Height 1.32 M
A-Frame Max. Height 2.16 M
A-Frame Max. Highest Standing Level 1.44 M
Extension Min. Height 2.74 M
Extension Max. Height 4.51 M
Extension Max. Highest Standing Level 3.53 M
Storage Height 1.39 M
Storage Width at Base 0.74 M
Storage Depth 0.20 M
Max. Footprint 1.55 M

The above is 17ft but there is a 22ft model and I’m not sure if it’s worth the extra $$$$.

Thoughts and thanks in advance.
Ok, I'll Bite
I have about 10 ladders (Last Count)
But this one is a ripper
Werner MT-17AZ Multi Ladder
I got two of these with a aluminium plank, ladders are also multi purpose and very well built.

Thanks StructuralBIMGuy,

The one I’m eyeing off is the Little Giant 17, it looks identical to your Werner even in functionality and rated to 150kg too.

Have you ever felt a 22 would serve you better than the 17?

Hi Joker, I’m leaning toward the multi functional type and Bunnings have the Gorilla ladder which is again looks to be a replic of the LittleGiant 17.

Would it seem out of place if LittleGiant
licences their ladders to Werner and Gorilla?
