The oldest looking part of our house is the dining room/kitchen area. I am looking for ideas on how can we make it look better but we are tight on budget and time. Any ideas would be very helpful ![]() Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Looking for recommendations for covering ugly tile floor 2Feb 27, 2019 11:39 am I've used Senso self adhesive timber vinyl http://sensoflooring.com.au to cover ugly tiles. Not necessarily cheap but easy DIY job, looks great and quite durable. Good luck! You might not like the look but they seem to be in fairly good condition, and easy to maintain. The best thing you can do to attract renters is allow pets. The place we are staying has cheap nasty laminate and it scratches just by looking at it and is cupped in quite a few places. White paint always brightens a place up and will go better with the tiles than cream Hi!
