I've done some research and as mentioned by Joker it seems like it is a coal burning fireplace and apparently it's not possible to burn wood in it, because of shallow depth and chimney angle, etc. We purchased a woodburner separately as our builder doesn't do them at all, and plan to install it asap afterwards, will need to build a mantelpiece wall surround thingy,… 6 1274 FEDERATION FIREPLACE COVERED UP???
