Recently a few times a day l hear a thump noise coming from inside the the roof area on the far right hand end of the house. Maybe 3-5 times a day , always the same area .It sounds a bit like hitting a hammer against wood. l was wondering if anyone might guess what could be causing it and if it is something l should get checked or most likely nothing to worry about. l read somewhere it could be the wooden frame inside the roof expanding and contracting from heat from the sun or could it be more serious or structural problems that should be checked?
