Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jan 28, 2019 5:17 pm Hi, found this cone shaped storm water drain being used with a stone garden. I want to use it for my yard gullies adjacent to my concrete paths that I will fill with stones. Any idea what it is called and where I can get them from? Thanks in advance. Re: Looking for this type of stormwater drain cover, anyone 7Jan 28, 2019 8:26 pm SaveH2O So the top cover isn't separate? But I now have a plan, let me explain. I have my concrete apron / paths (approx 1.2m) falling to a space between the path edge and the neighbours fence. Spaced evenly in this space are yard drains at ground level. I now plan to put weed mat or landscaping fabric on the ground, then put an upside down leaf guard over these yard drains and surround with decorative rocks. Thus my yard drains never get covered in rocks and the water drains away to storm water, and it looks nice. Thoughts? Re: Looking for this type of stormwater drain cover, anyone 8Jan 28, 2019 8:52 pm It sounds like a great idea that should work well with the stones. I love clever hacks. I was looking at the top and thinking it was a drain cover when I first posted. 3in1 Supadiverta. Rainwater Harvesting Best Practice using syphonic drainage. I think you get the idea. I am just waiting to make sure my SS is ok with the plan to cover them with inverted leaf guards. They did say covering with stones would be ok so protecting them further should be fine. Then you'll know. 3 6336 in the stormwater pit or the drain? Those dont look like theyd fit in the drain. Separately, the pits do get stuff in them during the course of the build.
