Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jan 25, 2019 11:40 am Has anyone installed Smart Stone Nero Astral which is a black stone with some flick. We installed a new kitchen in September and the bench is really crapy, every mark shows, including water marks and can only be removed by using a cream cleaner. Have had the rep here twice and he is saying its because oil gets on it!!! Yes of cause oil is getting on the bench as the cook top is in the bench. Smart Stone have also stated if it is faulty they will replace the stone, but we will have to pay again to have the stone cut and fitted, plus have the stove top, sink etc removed and reinstalled. How have other people dealt with products not measuring up to statements made by wholesalers and retailer?
