Hi All,
We are buying a Metricon house with a timber staircase. The house isn't very old but the timber staircase/handrails is already showing wear with the varnish/stain worn away in parts. The house is only 3 years old, so it seems too knew for the extent of the worn areas. Has anyone had this problem, AND is there a fix which doesn't involve completely resanding and finishing the stairs.
