Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Nov 24, 2019 2:58 pm Hi Based on the frontage and land size, I am allowed 240 sqm site coverage in ground floor and 144sqm in 1st floor. I want to have two voids - one over the stair case and another over the living room. Just wondering if Hills Council calculates the voids as part of both site coverage of ground floor and 1st floor? I mean if they calculate it in 240sqm, I kind of would be okay. But if they also calculate in the 144 sqm on 1st floor, my upstairs will become tiny. Anyone have any experience with this with hills council DA? Also what is the maximum variation they allow on 1st floor? do they allow >5%?
