I have a lilly pilly hedge (not sure what variety) that is over 10years old. Some of the lilly pilly trunks and branches have grayish patches on them. The patches are smooth to touch. I've cleaned out underneath off headge and found white powdery stuff mixed in with the soil and dead leaves. Some brances are dying off. Would anyone have any insight to the above. I have attached photo.
