Terrence Malick Re: Has anyone used Karndean for flooring? 3Sep 12, 2008 2:14 pm One of the Cremorne builders, Andy, used it in his place. He loves it. Not sure where the link to his blog is, but you could look in the blog list at the top of the Building a New Home section Solidarity, not solidity.......The Lexicon of Life Re: Has anyone used Karndean for flooring? 4Sep 12, 2008 2:33 pm http://wallace-cremorne41.blogspot.com/
The above link is Andy's that Petal mentioned. Their floor looks fantastic and I know that they are extremely happy with it. With Ladyice's floor, you need to go to page 18. Again she loves the floor and highly recommends it. It's one we are considering too. Happy at Home Re: Has anyone used Karndean for flooring? 5Sep 12, 2008 3:10 pm Thanks guys Karndean emailed me with my local stockist so I am going to check them out over the weekend and see how I go. Keep ya posted and will add some pics if we choose some samples.

Built a Clarendon 'Balmain' 2008 Re: Has anyone used Karndean for flooring? 8Sep 13, 2008 12:48 am We have picked this flooring for our downstairs:
http://www.karndean.com/products_detail ... ue&id=1004 However, it says there is a new range coming out, and since we're still waiting for council approval, I'll look at the new stuff before I decide. Judie Re: Has anyone used Karndean for flooring? 9Sep 13, 2008 11:47 pm We love the karndean range too, and are most probably going to use it...(if the bank gives us the money ) DH loved the look of rustic ash, it looked fabulous on the show-floor, but I like pitch pine best. We are looking at the thinner planks, the thicker planks are too expensive for us Re: Has anyone used Karndean for flooring? 10Sep 15, 2008 9:50 am Hi all,
here is what we have chosen for our flooring in laundry, kitchen, lounge, hallway and bathroom........ I think http://i368.photobucket.com/albums/oo121/wingies/VG1_7.jpg http://i368.photobucket.com/albums/oo121/wingies/Karndean_5.jpg Because we have floorboards its going to cost us $107.00 per sqm. would only be $82.00 if we had concrete. Now I need to work out what colours to paint the walls that will go with the flooring ..... If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit. There's no use being a damn fool about it. W.C. Did they give you the option on installing it yourselves?? Happy at Home Re: Has anyone used Karndean for flooring? 12Sep 15, 2008 10:15 am They said I could install the underlay sheeting myself, but I had to make sure it was done properly...... but my wife doesn't think it would be a good idea. I'm getting two quote's - one to supply and install and one just to supply only. Ladyice gave me the name/number of her installer. I'll let you know what the difference (if any) is. Is that what you have been quoted for Karndean flooring ? Thank you Re: Has anyone used Karndean for flooring? 15Sep 17, 2008 9:42 am Yep, thats for the choice as pictured above. We currently have really old worn out floor boards which I dont like, so they have to lay board over the top of them then lay the flooring so it cost an extra 25 per sqm. Re: Has anyone used Karndean for flooring? 16Sep 17, 2008 8:30 pm we got a quote for Karndean Flooring from two different well known suppliers and one quote was $110 per m2 and the other was $100 per m2 laid. Whithe kitchen, dining areasch sadly turn out to be about $10k for the area we wanted without the decorative border, and that we not the most expensive one in their range.
That budget was to cover all our floor coverings and not just, neddless to say we are going with a similar product that reduced our price by a couple of thousand. Having said that if anyone knows where i can get Karndean for cheaper i would love to know as i really like the tiles. Their cheaper range is the Knight-Tile range; the most expensive (I think) is the da Vinci range. We have a quote for a product from the Knight-Tile @ $79m2 installed.
Judie Re: Has anyone used Karndean for flooring? 18Sep 18, 2008 9:23 pm where are you?
and do you mind sending me the details of who you were quoted by... i really love the Karndean range. Sharon & Paul ********************* Creating Youngs Castle Heywood 29 in Craigieburn http://youngscastle.blogspot.com/ Re: Has anyone used Karndean for flooring? 19Sep 18, 2008 10:26 pm shazburger - I'm in Sydney, but the quote was given to me by our local Carpet Court.
Which product were you going to use? It does make a difference to the price. I think the amount you need also influences the price. We need 81m2. Judie Re: Has anyone used Karndean for flooring? 20Sep 19, 2008 11:46 am We were quoted around $75m2 for the 'knight tiles'....
We are in WA and we were quoted by Solomons carpet. Through them it is going to cost us approx $12k for flooring...both carpet and karndean. (The carpet is mid range price with gold underlay) Wingies that plank is very nice, which one is it?
