At this stage we are going with something that is similar to Karndean until i can find Knights-Tile at the right price.... I was quoted $84 per sqm supply and install for Van Gogh which is i believe more expensive than Knight Tile, however, they claim that it might go up slightly if the slab / floor needs preparation. Cheers Re: Has anyone used Karndean for flooring? 24Sep 21, 2008 6:58 am We loved our Krandean. We built 4 years ago and put in grandewood longstrip- american oak throuought the entire house including all beds and even the bathrooms ect. no tiles on floor and no carpet. Absolutely LOVED it!!! Looks like we are getting 'kauri wide plank" from Casa Hi I was told by the stockist that the price for installation of the Karndean depends a lot on the slab and preparation work might be needed especially if the slab is not level. Any one encountered that and how much more $ was needed (i know it is like asking how long is a piece of string), so just your experience would be appreciated. This is the one thing that is stopping us from going with Karndean due to the difficulty in budgetting for this. Cheers Re: Has anyone used Karndean for flooring? 26Sep 22, 2008 9:18 pm I went back and got a new quote for the knights tile and with the proper preparation for a cement slab i am still looking @ 95 per m2.
So we have gone for a similar tile different company that comes in laid @ 70 per m2 Good luck with your quote Sharon & Paul ********************* Creating Youngs Castle Heywood 29 in Craigieburn http://youngscastle.blogspot.com/ As title suggests, looking at using the interlocking Pentablock stacked stone products to replace failing timber retaining… 0 17866 Hi All, we are starting to think of building with Masterpiece Builders in Victoria, has anyone had any feedback or experience with them 0 13588 Hi we are looking to talk to people who have built with them recently.
