Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Nov 23, 2018 9:59 pm Hi, My friend has just built a new home and he is wanting a row of ornamental pears - probably capitals, at the back of his yard as a hedge. however he wants them only to get to 3 metres high max so i was wondering if he could prune the trees from a young age to keep them at the desired height? Any thoughts or other suggestions. He really likes the look of the ornamental pears. We would keep them small enough to only need short ladders so you should be fine. Omg they are so cute!
