Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Oct 31, 2018 3:12 pm Hi folks, We are building a double story home at Jordan Spring East. My builder has requested to provide Professional Landscape Plan for our construction lodgment. How would I make it by myself or can get a professional to help with in cheap price? Do you know anyone in Penrith area who can make in professional way in cheap price? Re: Professional Landscape Plan 3Oct 31, 2018 7:32 pm Hi Ravi, Could you take this out of the contract and engage a D&C Landscape contractor directly? They’ll typically handle any related approvals and designs. Hope this helps. Professional Landscape Plan 4Oct 31, 2018 8:41 pm Talk to your council about this, our builder said we needed one which would have cost us around 2k. But if I was going to spend that cash I wanted proper plans that I would use. I wasn’t ready to plan that out. Council really only wanted a plan with the green space ratio showing. So we took the plan that had the house position on it and coloured the green space green. Re: Professional Landscape Plan 5Nov 01, 2018 10:18 am Most new estates have a covenant on what is required for the front landscaping. Our covenant was double driveway (not plain concrete), edged gardens, 1 tree, 5 plants and turf to remainder of front yard, side fencing with gates. When our builder lodged our plans with Stockland, we did up a plan on Microsoft Paint to show the driveway, gardens, etc. They were happy with that. Re: Professional Landscape Plan 6Nov 01, 2018 11:47 am Where does all this landscape planning crap come from? It's only a front-yard. What would Grand Dad have said as he hunted for the penultimate sheet of fibro to finish off the family house? Who's to say a a boat and a stripped out Sigma is any less appealing than a couple of straggly bushes and a pot-plant rom the local plant shop? Are we going to see Covenant Cops cruising the 'hood in their blacked out SUVs in coming years? Arghhh, returns to his reading of Jane Jacobs...... Landscape Design Parramatta We have been doing a large amount of landscape design work in Sydney… 0 3 Need advice on the backyard plan above. Should I excavate and cut all of the dirt to level with the house slab or semi-excavate as per photo above? Both left and right… 0 24832 Thanks very much! And would the landscaper/contractor generally involve the engineer or is that something the client would do? Thanks for your help 2 10008 |
