i really feel as though it needs it and would look much better. I feel like the bench isn't 'complete'. I have attached a pic so you can see where I would want it. http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x172/katykat_m/IMG_2352-Copy.jpg Thanks in advance. Re: Can you add a waterfall edge after installation????? 2Sep 10, 2008 10:01 pm Hey Miss I asked yhe same question in the kitchen forum a little while ago (sorry don't know how to add links) and apparently the short answer is no not really. Dig up the old post, but apparently there are issues with the bench edge having already been cut a certain way and also with the tiles having already been laid. Re: Can you add a waterfall edge after installation????? 3Sep 10, 2008 10:24 pm Ah crap ...
I can't believe how dissapointed I am with my kitchen, it's like punishment for a prior lifetime! Well we won't be laying tiles or our floorboards for a while to come, bt I will dig up your old post and check it out. Thanks Re: Can you add a waterfall edge after installation????? 5Sep 10, 2008 10:48 pm I just found your post Sharee and I got to the end and went NOOOOOO!!!!
Surely there is some company out there who can fix it to look half decent! So what was your final decision? Did you add the apron? I hear your kitchen is a shade of pink? Sounds like we are both not getting exacly as we wanted My splashback is not the colour I was expecting and the waterfall edges too. Hopefully the appliances will set it off and I will slowly forget about it all Re: Can you add a waterfall edge after installation????? 7Sep 11, 2008 11:21 am Not sure exactly what you mean but I presume you mean stone running down the cabinets to the floor?
If so of course you can, but it might be expensive and the trouble with sourcing the exact same stone, builder/joiner that is willing to take it on. In other words it may be cost prohibited but some thing that you can look at anyway once you get control of the house. Re: Can you add a waterfall edge after installation????? 9Sep 11, 2008 4:13 pm I think your kitchen looks beautiful - and I feel that the addition of the waterfall edge in the ceasarstone might just be too much. But it is your kitchen and I know how particular I am when I want something changed. I dont see why an expert wouldnt be able to do what you are after.
Good Luck - you have a beautiful kitchen which will look even more stunning once the floor is laid and the appliances are installed. Re: Can you add a waterfall edge after installation????? 10Sep 11, 2008 8:46 pm ausfatcat On anther point whats the telephone plug (I think it is a telephone plug any way) on right side of the bench doing up so high? Is that normal? It looks the right height for a wall phone. Obviously too high for a bench phone. The current old house I live in uses it. I chose the color back in 2005 for some of the interior color. Actually good that is the case, they seem to bring out the same colours just with different names every year or so. Obviously a popular colour to stand test of time. 👍🏻👍🏻 go upvc window frames ensure insulation under colorbond. not just sarking, lighter color roof also not sure if you have seen this viewtopic.php?t=5823 last couple of pages… 4 98103 The last home I lived in didn't have a pool and when i went to sell it the agents were not happy, even telling me to put one in to sell the place.
