Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Sep 28, 2018 10:33 am Hi, Can someone help me with this question please? We are building with a major building company and they have dug through our existing worm farm septic system on our property by running the storm water through the absorption lines and crushing the sand filter pipe work. They claim that since they did not install it , they are not responsible for the damage. They were aware the system was there and it was pegged out. The site manager also told us that he told the plumber not to go anywhere down the back as the septic was there. After the damage was discovered, he told us to get a quote for repairing it and send it in to the head office which we have done. They now are refusing to pay.
