Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Sep 07, 2018 7:57 am Hi, I’m in the process of building, paid the lock up stage payment, as the house was at that stage, however due to further investigation into the build, the bricks and plaster need to come down to re check the frame, destruction order from surveyor. Am I entitled to get my lock up payment back as the house is not at lock up stage anymore? As otherwise paying interest, and builders will take a life time to remove and get back to lock up stage.
