Advice please. Son has recently built with a volume builder. The energy rating hot water service is proving a nightmare. There is resonance in the pipes on cold nights, sometimes the high pitched ringing noise can go on for 10 mins, or 5-6 x o'night. It can be heard throughout the house, so his bedroom is unbearable. Being directed from builder to manufacturer to installer and around again. No one seems to want to deal with this.
Has anyone had a similar experience? Do we have to disconnect the solar to escape from the noise?
