I am on the right track of getting a structural engineer with his|her report and then talk to the builder based everyone’s advice.
Thanks

Dataone 111, why was your house sold so new, did the previous owner sell a known lemon. Most the best results from new build problems end up being won out by the party with better homework, it comes down to who has the most convincing documented evidence, good luck, Re: Hairline Cracks and Sound from walls 25Oct 01, 2020 8:41 am dataone111 were you able to find anything about this issue? Re: Hairline Cracks and Sound from walls 26Oct 01, 2020 12:11 pm Gaudi Mauromario . So the member told the builder you have no chance, deal with it now . Congratulations Mauromario! What a long journey to VCAT, but well deserved outcome for you and your careless builder. Was the builder given a timeline to fix the problems by VCAT? Would you mind sharing who you did use to take your slab levels? My levels were taken by Buratt engineering, sorry fo the very late reply been so busy with builder fixing our house with underpinning, and a full agricultural drainage system around the house. They have 90 days to do the underpinning and drainage around the house make good everything concrete path they had to cut, i got them to agree to use my concreters i didn't want the builders concreters they are useless. Then to check floor levels for 12 months and see if the slab stops moving i really hope it works, if not well they don't get let off the hook, if all this work actually stops the slab from moving builder is to come back and fix everything else frame truss heater platforms to be moved bricks to be removed and fixed and everything else that has to be fixed.
