We recently had a complying development certificate issued and now need to make some changes to the design and finish I have a builder engaged and ready to start and we have discussed the changes to be made, plus the designer has updated the plans to reflect. Can I get some thoughts / Opinions on whether I need to request for an alteration to my CDC now or can I do this during the construction? There are 3 specific changes that we need to make that differs from the CDC plans lodged and approved 1. Reduced the number of windows on the plan from 4 to 3, updated them from Aluminium to Timber and made them smaller to comply with new basix (Basix is updated and window sizes will comply) 2. Originally extension was to have a step down to new areas, decided to keep extension at same level of existing home 3. Alfresco originally designed with 3 brick pylons changed to 4 Brick Pylons. The reason I ask is that I am simply wanting to avoid having to do this on a 3rd or 4th occasion if in the off chance further changes are required. I would appreciate your thoughts.
