I have some natural cracking in merbau external stair treads.
The photo shows the worse of them, along with a number of smaller ones.
I'm about to re-oil these (using Intergrain Ultradeck).
Wondering if I should do anything with the cracks? Should I use the Intergrain filler on them, or make sure I get heaps of oil in them?

arodc Are you able to check the moisture Content of the timber?
Was the timber seasoned in the first place?
