Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Dec 19, 2017 11:29 pm Hello ***Newbie alert*** I have to start somewhere and contemplating to taking first step in my quest in property Would buying a land + building a dual occupancy / duplex (with intention to sell one of them) worth while effort? It seems it's nearly impossible to find base pricing for dual-occ plans. Is there a rough guide or ways I can find out the pricing? You can source data and statistics from numerous real estate sites. Block developments fall into a handful of configurations, designs are standardised and easy to find as well. Construction costs, time, planning & Profit optimisation involve variables (info), data, calculus and PROOFS,etc, etc, etc. More info required as I may be able to help..please keep it concise and brief-> point form Yes there is an generative algorithmic program that automates the process (mud map) hth Cheers Designer,Engineer (Civil,Const & Envir),Builder,Concrete & Masonry Contract.Struct Repairs Re: Dual Occupancy - worth it? 3Dec 20, 2017 2:02 pm Hi @StructuralBIMGuy Thanks for your help!
