I received a copy of the BC bi-laws the other day, and one stuck out a little bit when I read them...
It says we cannot replace curtains or other window furnishings without approval from the BC as to the curtain backing, as it must adequately match the curtain backings of other units, visible from the outside of the property.
Is this normal or a little bit extreme? Or does it just sound worse/more formal in writing and as long as you ask, it's no problem?
I've never had to deal with bodies corporate before!
I guess that may mean my beloved plantation shutters would be out, as they certainly wouldn't match everyone else's curtains. *sigh*
