Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Oct 24, 2017 8:13 pm Hi Guys, I recently tried to build a house in Point Cook. Just before starting construction, my builder found out that my neighbour's builder (Porter Davis) incorrectly extend their slab into my land. So I had to contact their building surveyor to get this resolved. After several email and phone call, they finally fixed after two months. Because of this, my builder charged me a price capping fee which I completely understand. My question is can I get this back from Porter Davis? I had directly contacted them to request a compensation. However, their building coordinator became really rude and kept saying I should contact them initially so this can be resolved quicker to avoid the charge. I think the above statement is completely wrong.
