Hi, I am near the end of my build and looking at getting fencing done. Someone told me recently that we can't get side fencing that would go up to the footpath between properties. Does anyone know whether this is true?. I have seen a few house with side fencing so I am confused on whether we can or can't.

The Woods guidelines
small lot housing code
Hey Anna, I'm in The Woods too, ive done some digging on this, it looks like the estate guidelines say no if your lot is above 300m2. Anything below 300m2 is covered by the "small lot housing code" which says on a smaller block you can, but the fence must taper down towards the front.
